Mr. Larry D. Burnstad

Name:
Mr. Larry D. Burnstad
About me:
For the past 40-plus years I have focused professionally on the evaluation and assessment of stream and wetland habitat for the purpose of planning, designing, permitting, and managing the construction of fish and wildlife habitat restoration. I spent 10 years employed by a public agency and 30-plus years as a consultant to both private and public sector entities. Now, semi-retired, I want to continue tying flies, going fly fishing with my friends, and volunteering with TU. After a lifetime of professional experience it's time for me to "give back" by helping with the conservation and enhancement of coldwater fisheries in Washington state. I want my children, grandchildren, and generations beyond to have an opportunity to experience the incredible wonders of the natural world within which I ply my vocation and avocation. To that end, I have volunteered to be the Conservation Committee Chairperson for the Washington Council of Trout Unlimited.
